Shred Events & Food Drive!
We'll be collecting non-perishable food items during both Shred Events, with the proceeds going to local food pantries. Get secure shredding of your outdated, sensitive documents and help a great cause at the same time!
Please follow these guidelines:
•Up to three brown paper bags or three medium-sized boxes (100 lbs) per person may be shredded.
•Safe destruction of outdated, sensitive financial statements*, receipts, invoices, checks/check duplicates, etc., will be shredded on-site.
•In exchange for shredding service we are accepting non-perishable food items for local food pantries.
•All types of paper are fine (staples and paper clips can be shredded).
•Items with butterfly clips need to be removed and items in 3-ring binders need to be emptied.
•Small quantities of discs can be taken but must be placed in a separate bag.
*Consult a tax advisor for advice on tax return retention. Do not destroy documents tied to pending litigation and never destroy any vital records such as wills, deeds, titles, birth or death certificates, etc.
